Pet Emergency Clinic

Took our dog Sam in Sunday was told there would be at least a 2 hour wait. We waited and expected to be rushed through because of the amount of people there and an emergency surgery that was happening. We were happily surprised with the amount of care and attention given not only to our sweet Sam but to our concerns. Dr Katie H and her assistant Briley went above and beyond for us. We had gone to another Vet in Lake Charles Saturday afternoon expecting it to be cheaper than the ER it was not and we were rushed through like cattle, I guess that's what happens when they go corporate. I cannot recommend this place enough. Great ppl who truly care about you and your pet!

Around 3 weeks ago my best friend in the world passed. And the ladies at pet emergency clinic were so kind! I want to thank you for helping me through this and getting his body cremated so i could take him home. Sorry it took me so long to post. God bless all of you.

**This is the video on the way to the veterinary clinic; she was alive when I handed her over, and they returned her to me lifeless without saying anything.** **They killed my kitten. I took her in and paid for them to help improve her health, not to receive her dead and without being told that she had died during the procedure. I understand that they have helped many pets, which is why I went there. But they lied to me and were unethical and unprofessional by telling me to take her home and give my kitten love. My sixth sense made me check the kitten before leaving the clinic because they handed her to me wrapped in a large towel with many folds, making it hard to find her. When I found her, I saw she was lifeless, and I was in shock; I couldn't stop crying, and no one came out to say anything. The receptionist left her post, and no one came out in the 20 minutes I waited for someone to arrive. The kitten was a 6-day-old baby that I was feeding with kitten formula, but I believe it caused her colic and constipation, which was why I took her in. She was eating, sleeping well, and even with constipation, she was still able to poop because I always stimulated her. Every day was a victory for me because she was overcoming the risk, except for her inflamed belly full of colic and poop. It was not fair that no one took responsibility for this and that they lied to me.**

I usually don’t go to the extreme & write negative reviews about my experiences or places that I go to, but For the grief my wife had to go through today due to the unprofessionalism & unexperienced personnel in the so called vet clinic & have to warn the others before taking their pets for emergencies.. My wife took our kitten that was only 6 days old to get a checkup of her being bloated & not pooping properly, They took her in to start examining & my wife could hear the kitten screaming & crying in pain as they were trying to get her to poop, then the so called doctor JEFF AGUILLARD came over & told my wife “Everything seems Fine she’s going to be ok we’re Just trying to get the rest of the feces out of her” 10-15 minutes later everything went silent & the female doctor came over to her & stated that the kitten had a “bigger issue” that her intestines were torn & had fluid leaking into its abdomen & Had slight chances of living! Then I asked “what now??” She stated that kittens with this issue only live “a month tops” & couldn’t receive any medication & the only thing they can do is hand back our kitten.. after I was left speechless she stated “ At least it got Love” After my wife received the kitten it was odd that she was covered in a big towel , my wife uncovered the kitten & surely enough OUR KITTEN WAS DEAD! These so called vets are not Who they say they are & Clearly didn’t know what they were doing & killed the baby kitten & lied saying she had slight chances of living
